Harry Viezens Fine Guns is proud to introduce fresh to the market a genuine Irwin Pedersen Carbine! This carbine is fitted with a Underwood barrel dated 10-42. The Carbine's serial number is 1765621. The stock is Saginaw Gear Grand Rapids S'G' as well as the handguard. The original rear sight is I.P. coded. The buttplate is I.P. coded. The operating rod is S'G' coded. The complete bolt is S"G' coded. The trigger housing is S'G' coded. The dog leg hammer is I.P. coded. The sear is I.P. coded. The magazine catch is I.P. coded. The safety is I.P. Coded. The trigger is S"G' coded. The magazine is S'G' coded. The front sight is the correct front sight for this time frame. The bore is bright and sharp. The original sling and oiler show service use and wear which is consistant with the gun. This carbine has not been through a rebuild program or put together to make a Irwin Pedersen carbine. This is a genuine original Irwin Pedersen Carbine! This gun shows a fair amount of service wear and use. This wear cannot be faked! The faded military finish on the metal parts is consistant with the wear on this gun. The oval cut high wood stock and handguard have the polished surface and look of much handling. The wood is sound with no cracks or damaqge. This is a well carried and used carbine! There is no abuse or alterations done to this carbine. This gun has all the correct mixed parts and codes that you would expect to find on a genuine as issued Irwin Pedersen carbine! Irwin Pedersen only produced 1/10 of a percent of original carbines produced during the war. There were according to several persons reearch never a complete Coded I.P. Carbine issued to the service. All original I.P. carbines had a mixure of I.P. coded And S'G' for Saginaw Gear Grand Rapids Parts as S'G' completed the I.P. Contract when Irwin Pedersen was not able to. This carbine is a amazing find! This carbine will be the crowning firearm in anybody's military collection! Search for hlvfineguns on google for more details.
