Description:
This is a very nice unmarked Belgian Side x Side 410 Ga Hammer Gun, with Nitro Proofed 2.5 inch chambers, plain extractors, excellent bores, etc. Barrels are 27.5 inches in length and chokes are marked .413 and .409. Gun is quite petite and overall length is 43 inches with a length of pull at 13.5 inches to the front trigger. Blued finish on barrels, trigger guard and smooth steel buttplate appears to be the original rust blue finish - with the once case colored action having faded to an even patina. Engraving is minimal but tasteful. Looks very much like guns made and or sold by Francotte - could be a so called "Guild Gun" that was sold by them. Forearm wood has been replaced but matches the buttstock and only lacks checkering to match. All in all a very nice Nitro Proofed 410 Ga Hammer Gun that weighs in at only 4 lbs 1.8 ounces - not the smallest or lightest we have seen but a cutie pie none-the-less.
