REDUCED This Bayard Pieper hammer shotgun reminds me of the wonderful quality of a pre war Francotte! The guns superb condition (98% Plus) coupled with the rarity of a factory set of 33.5 inch steel chopper lump barrels of Bayard Stahl make this a very desireable firearm. Wood is original and near perfect, including checkering. Gun is equipped with factory swivels. Bores and chambers are excellent condition and barrels are nitro proofed in Liege, Belgium. Only the most minor of handling marks are present on this great little 28 Ga gun. Blue is 98% Wood is 98%. All finish is original and never redone or touched up. Dimensions are as follows: LOP = 13.75" Drop (heel) = 2.75" Drop (comb) = 1.75" Weight = 6 lb 2.4 oz Chambered for 2.75" shells (measured) & Nitro proofed, Chokes = full & extra full (measured). This is by far the nicest condition pre war Belgian hammer shotgun we have ever had. It will not disappoint.
