Description:
The barrel date is 4-1943. The carbine's serial number is 361466. This carbine is one of the earliest group produced by Inland to use the "oval cut" oiler cut out. Many of the carbine's parts are the correct early style parts. It still has the early style operating rod with the half moon cut. The hammer is the early dog leg style. It has the checkered push button safety. The magazine release is the early long smooth face style. The stock is the high wood with the "IO" code in the sling slot. This carbine shows very little use. The stock varnish is intact. The original military finish is fully intact. The flat bolt has almost all of the original blue black finisl. The magazine is UI coded with the flat bottom. This is a very stunning all original as issued early M1 carbine That has survived the war in amazing condition. This carbine is a collectors prize to find!
