Shipping is actual cost with a minimum of $30.00 for pistols and $50.00 for rifles/shotguns to ship to most of the 48 contiguous states. Shipping to Alaska may require an extra fee. Here is something one does not come across too often. This is an AR-10 style rifle produced by Midwest Industries. By all accounts, it is a far superior rifle to the original AR-10 design. The original AR-10s were limited at the beginning of their introduction due to the then metallurgical technology and the dirtier gun powders then available. Rifles like the gas-piston FN FAL and the roller-delayed blowback G3/HK91 were able to use of these powders without having to be cleaned as frequently as the direct-impingement AR-10. The AR-10 also required a proprietary magazine at a time when both FAL and G3 mags could be purchased at low prices. The situation has of course changed with time. Better materials, gun powders, and magazines are now available, which the MI-10 can take full advantage of. The MI-10F has forged upper and lower 7075 receivers and a Criterion (CBI) 16-inch stainless nitron-finished barrel with a 1-in-10 twist rate. Attached to the barrel is MI’s two-chamber enhanced muzzle break. The 12-inch handguard is configured to the M-LOK system and currently sports a 5-slot picatinny rail on the bottom. Both the grip and buttstock are made by Magpul. The buttstock is the ACS model. There is a small bit of wear on the buffer tube nut. Given the otherwise excellent condition of the rifle, I would argue this is a factory blemish. The MI-10F uses the common Magpul SR-25 magazines which come in a variety of capacities to suit the intended use of the rifle or to comply with any state regulations. The rifle is pre-owned but appears to have been fired very little. The original charging handle has been replaced by one that is of the heavy-duty ambidextrous-type. The trigger is very smooth. The rifle comes with three Magpul magazines: two 20-round and one 25-round. Also included are a warranty page, a Midwest Industries patch, and a military manual for the M16A2/A3/A4 and M4/M4A1 rifles. This should be used purely as a reference to general operation of the MI-10F. It is not capable of full auto fire like those rifles but it handles and operates in the same fashion albeit semi-auto only.
