Description:
Up for sale today is a US Springfield M1 Garand serial no. 2995866 chambered in .30-06. This outstanding Army-rebuild Garand rebuilt by Letterkenny Army Depot in October of 1966. The rifle has a mint bore, a barrel date of “SA 2-66,” a throat erosion reading of 1.75 and a muzzle wear reading of 1.0. The rifle shows excellent finish on both wood and metal parts. An outstanding piece of history and a great shooter as well.
