Description:
Up for sale today is a bcd 43 Mauser K98k serial no. 7798q chambered in caliber 8mm Mauser. This rifle was made by Steyr in Austria during Nazi occupation in 1943. The rifle has matching parts except for the following: the bolt is mismatched but matches itself, and it has a late-war replacement floorplate made by Mauser. There are no import marks present on this rifle. The rifle does not have a cleaning rod. The bore is dark but shows strong rifling. An excellent piece of history and a great shooter as well.
