Very Fine Colt Single Action Army .45 Colt caliber revolver. Made in 1893. This gun has a 7½” barrel in .45 LC. This is a very nice gun with lots of finish. The barrel has 50 – 60 % of the original finish while the frame has 70% of the original case colors that have faded dark. Grips are excellent. This gun comes with a factory letter. The letter says this gun has a 4¾” barrel. Since this is a gun that was shipped along with 50 others, it is very possible this is a factory error since both the frame, barrel, grips and other small parts match in condition. This gun was shipped to E.C. Meacham in St. Louis. Meacham was a dealer and outfitter. Nice sharp black powder frame gun!
