This is a beautiful example of a Colt Model 1877 revolver, also referred to as the Colt Lightning. Manufactured in 1892, this revolver includes the Colt Factory letter with the listing. The high-polish blue rates in the low 90's with beautiful barrel and profile but patina on the back of the frame. Nice case-hardening remains and the grips are example. Bore is strong with no major flaws. Tight action and mechanically correct. No license required for this purchase.
