MINT UNFIRED BRITISH PERCUSSION .31 CAL. BAR HAMMER SELF COCKING PEPPERBOX CA. 1850. 7 ½” o/a with 3” barrels. Engraved frame, hammer and trigger guard. Type advertised as “SELF COCKING”. Barrels numbered “1” thru “6” with small Birmingham proofs. No maker name. Bag shaped checkered walnut grip with silver escutcheon engraved “JM” in Gothic letters. 99% plus original blue and color case hardening. Mint bores and perfect working order. Looks like it just came out of the case. Extra nice.
