Description:
The POONA HORSE was a regular cavalry regiment attached to the East India Company in Bombay India. It is now an armored regiment Corps of the Indian Army. The lockplate is marked POONA IRREGULAR HORSE. The barrel is 21" long, and fitted with cavalry holding rings.The firing mechanism is in working order, and the gun comes with various solid bronze fittings. The stock is probably walnut, with dings but no cracks. Condition is very good for a used gun.
