COLT SAA SINGLE ACTION ARMY CHRISTY CONVERSION .357 MAG. 7 ½” REVOLVER CA. 1930’S. Original all matching 169,xxx serial range circa 1897 Single Action converted to .357 Magnum by Christy Gun Works, Sacramento, California in the late 1930’s-40’s. Christy barrel marked “CHRISTY 357”, Christy cylinder and rebounding firing pin and hammer. Christy custom blue and case colors on hammer. Excellent plus and all original with 98-99% finish remaining. Period plastic stag grips. Mint bore and good working order. Many famous clients including Elmer Keith.
