Winchester Model 1895 Takedown in .35 W.C.F. with factory Lyman receiver sight and 24" barrel. Serial number 80401, mfg. in 1915. The rifle maintains a strong 85% condition and has an excellent bore. No pits or rust. Takedown works perfectly. The stocks are nice with minimal marks, no cracks and unsanded. After 1904, the .35 W.C.F. came with a shotgun butt plate unless customer specified a crescent butt. Overall condition of this rifle is excellent. Only 837 takedown rifles were made out of over 425,000 produced. With the combination of the takedown, crescent butt, receiver sight, rarer caliber and nice condition, this should be a special rifle.
