Description:
Parker 16 gauge VH grade built in 1934.This gun has 28" Vulcan steel barrels choked modified (.015") and full (.035").The gun is in excellent condition retaining 70% of the original case colors,98% of the original barrel blue,and 98% of the original wood finish.The bores are mint and free of any rust,pits,or dents.The stock is sound with no cracks or damage.The stock dimensions are 143/4"LOP over a Pachmayr Old English pad,15/8" at comb,and 25/8" at heel.The barrels lock up tight to the action with no play.The gun is built on a #1 frame and weighs 6-10.This is one of the last Parker Bros.guns built before Remington took over.It is 17 serial numbers away from the first Remington built gun.A classic 16 gauge that would make a great dove or pheasant gun.C&R eligible.
