Description:
SPECIAL ORDER 1894 WITH HALF OCTAGON BARREL, HALF MAGAZINE, AND CRESCENT BUTT, .30WCF CALIBER, #436XXX, MADE 1908. A nice, unfooled with rifle that shows fine lightly aged blue on the barrel, receiver sides also show good aged blue mixing brown toward the edges- more blue on the left side with more brown mixing on the right. Fine blue on the loading gate, fine screws, bore a little dark but shows strong rifling throughout, buckhorn rear sight with “Marbles No.3” marked blade/ivory bead front sight, fine wood shows only light normal handling/hunting wear with very tight wood to metal fit. Tight action, nice screws.
