Antique Winchester 1873 in 38-40, mfg. 1885. Includes Cody Letter and the rare original cleaning rod. The rifle is 100% original and has a nice brown overall patina. Very few pits or rust spots. The bore would rate good with scattered light pitting throughout. Should make a fine shooter. The unsanded stocks have no cracks, splits or missing wood. The mechanics work as designed. Nice honest all around Winchester that hasn't been messed with.
