COLT BISLEY SINGLE ACTION FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER .44-40 CAL. 4 ¾” REVOLVER CA. 1901 W/FACTORY LETTER. All matching serial numbers in the 206,xxx range. Factory records state it was shipped to Simmons Hardware, St. Louis, Mo. Feb. 20, 1901 as a .41 Colt cal. 5 ½”. Appears factory re-barrel in same time period with “COLT FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER” roll die barrel and cylinder with patina matching rest of gun. Very good plus overall with approximately 50% blue and case hardening mixed with dark patina. All original parts and screws. Excellent original hard rubber grips. Fine markings. Working order and very good bore and chambers.
