Description:
Smith & Wesson K-38, (4 screw) Cal. .38 Spec. Ser. K 27223XX. An absolutely super condition estate gun. The remaining factory high polish blue gun is at the very least 99.+%. The loss there is limited to some very slight muzzle and sharp edge silvering. There is also, a tiny surface rub mark about a 1/2" long on the right side of the frame and the usual hairline cylinder turn ring.
The rest of the gun is magnificent. The striated grip strap has not even started to gray. The gun looks like it has seen just a box or two of shells and then became a "Cabinet Queen." It is a 4 screw model with the early wide rib and pinned barrel. The walnut checkered grips are factory new. No chips, splits or flattened points. The grip screw is undamaged. All numbers match and the gun locks up,tight and functions smoothly. The recoil shield, cylinder face and force cone also have little if any evidence of use.
The barrel, like the rest of the gun is pristine. The bore is mirror bright with razor sharp rifling. This gun is a triple winner,.a winner to look at, a winner at the range and a great investment.....$795 shipped
