Description:
PARKER GH GRADE, DAMASCUS BARRELS, 12 GAUGE, 30", ORIGINAL 2 5/8" CHAMBERS, IM/F CHOKES, 14 1/4" LOP OVER DHBP, 1 3/4" DAC, 7 LBS, 9 OZS. Made in 1896, this 1 1/2 frame size GH was recently restored with rust blued barrels, bone charcoal case colors, hot blued furniture, and hand rubbed oil stocks. The damascus barrel pattern is visible under direct light. Shows just a few minor scratches and knicks. Lock up is smooth and tight, even with the forestock off. The toplever locks up right of center. I have test fired this gun with 2 1/2" RST Falcon Ultra Lites and it shoots flawlessly. HOWEVER, BECAUSE IT IS A DAMASCUS BARRELED GUN, I MAKE NO WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, THAT IT IS SAFE TO SHOOT, OR WITH WHAT TYPE OF AMMO. THAT IS SOLELY FOR THE BUYER TO DETERMINE. There is no known defect with this gun in terms of safety, I simply do not warrant any damascus gun as safe to shoot as a matter of policy. The barrels on this GH are robust. The thinnest wall thicknesses I can find anywhere are about 40 thou on the right barrel and 30 thou on the left barrel. The bores are shiny, showing only very small scattered pits, with no rust, dents or bulges. This is not a perfect pristine gun, as it has been professionally repaired and restored. But at 122 years old, it is still solid, beautiful and brimming with character. $50 insured priority mail shipping to lower 48. 3 day non-firing, non-disassembly inspection period runs from time of delivery.
