We took in a 1903 Springfield that has been FULLY customized.
270 caliber
24" barrel, octagon to round taper profile, with a matted rib on top.
Single set trigger - the BEST set trigger we have ever seen.
Custom walnut stock, hand checkered, steel grip cap, steel butt, ebony forend tip, shadowline cheekpiece. BEAUTIFULLY executed.
Griffin & Howe side mount. With a Leupold M8 4x scope, clear & bright.
All metal work deeply blued.
Griffin & Howe may have installed the mount, not 100% sure. Most of the work looks to be in the Griffin & Howe style. Looks to have been PROFESSIONALLY done - NOT a hack job. We estimate to have this level of work done would cost over 6K PLUS the price of the gun itself!
