Excellent condition medium bore British double rifle. WW Greener, 40 Pall Mall London address, made in 1928. Features include an "Empire" box lock action, 27" steel barrels, ejectors, side safety, and proper oak and leather trunk case with accessories. High level of condition is testament to how little this example has been used over the last ninety years. Gorgeous walnut stock has crisp checkering, is tight to the action and proud at the inletting. 14-7/8" pull over the Silvers pad, 2-3/8" drop at heel. Weighs 9 pounds, 12 ounce, and balances 1-1/2" ahead of the hinge pin. In all, a handsome British Pre War Double Rifle, with no red flags, and ready for service on your next Safari. 450-400 Nitro Express 3-1/4" case, 400 grain 60 Cordite Birmingham proofs.
