Colt 1855 Root Converted to Single Shot. Interesting conversion of a Colt Root revolver to a single shot percussion pistol. Gun is in .40 caliber. The barrel has the form of an Allen, but we do not believe this is what it is. Unusual piece! You’ll never see another single shot conversion of a Root revolver!
