Description:
Top flat of the bbl is marked " C Curry San Francisco CAL Agent". This is a percussion deringer in cal 45. Front sight and hardware are all German silver. Metal markings and floral style engraving is all visible and in good cond. Stock is also amazing being all present with no major cracks. A small gun with overall length of 6-1/2". It does cock and function but hammer spring is a bit weak. Gunsmith book by Frank Sellers says that Curry was a distributor from the 1850s to about the time of the Civil War. This one would fall within those dates. A very nice little percussion pistol.
