Description:
This is a commercial Whitworth, target rifle. It is the three-band model, cased with accessories. It is in fine condition as is the case. The serial # is 393, which would put its manufacture in 1861. It shows light use and minor pitting on the metal. It has the original sights and ram rod. The tools are from a later date: flask, bullet mold and bullets. The sharp shooters glasses are period as is the case and label. It also has the original instructions for loading and cleaning the Whitworth Patent Military Rifle and the original instructions for loading Whitworth Patent Cartridge. These instructions are quite rare! A fine Civil War period Whitworth rifle cased with accessories at a very attractive price. US only – no international sales. Buyer pays $60.00 shipping. Three-day inspection allowed if notification is given and item is returned UNALTERED, less shipping. Antique – no FFL required. If your state or area requires an FFL for antiques, buyer will need to provide one. Must be 21 years of age to purchase.
