Description:
Cased Colt 1849 manufactured in 1857. .31 cal. 4” barrel 5 shot. Excellent mechanics & very strong cylinder scene, 2 line New York barrel address. Excellent original grip frame plating. Barrels assemblyhas traces of original blue in protected areas. All numbers match. (wedge screw may be a replacement) The Receiver case color has faded out. Very good bore. Indexes and locks up correctly. The case appears to be period or original, there is a warp as shown in the lid and some tights cracks. Included is a tin of UMC caps, powder measure 2 cavity bullet mold, and some balls. Antique and ships direct where legal.
