Description:
The S&W Model 46 was made from 1957 to 1966, with 4,000 manufactured. The pistols were fitted with either a 5 (1,000 mfg.), 5 1/2 (500 mfg.), or 7 (2,500 mfg.) inch barrel, checkered nylon grips with thumbrests, adjustable rear sight, were blue finished, and chambered in .22 LR.. This Model 46 is fitted with a 7 inch barrel and is in excellent original condition, retaining 90% of its original blue finish with most thinning on the front strap and forward right side portion of the slide. The bore is bright and the action functions perfectly. The grips, which number to the gun, fit well and are in very fine condition, with minimal minor handling marks. Comes with its original numbered to the gun box, factory barrel weight , and (2) 10-round magazines. Sorry, no paper-work. A very nice boxed S&W Model 46.
