A true original 1830’S TEXAS CLIP POINT BOWIE KNIFE BRASS SPINE. ORIGINAL JAMES BOWIE MADE KNIFE.
If you ever wanted to see a true Texas brass spine Bowie knife this is it. With a blade of 12 1/4 inches long and overall 17 1/8 inches wood handle with remnants of Texas being carved in handle. It has brass guard with engraved stars on quillons. Black forged his knives behind a leather curtain and kept his process a secret. Black’s knives were known to be exceedingly tough yet flexible. And this explains this knife to a T. A real good chance this Bowie was made by James Black himself. Truly a remarkable Texas Bowie Knife
