Description:

IVER JOHNSON ARMS & CYCLE WORKS DA Revolver

Early 20th Century Conceal and Carry

Here we present an Iver Johnson Top Break Safety Automatic Revolver in .38 S&W, made in the early 20th Century in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. Iver Johnson & Martin Bye both cut their teeth with Ethan Allen, then started their own company in 1871. The company continued to operate until 1993. This revolver was designed to be small and concealable for self-defense in the years leading up to the Roaring Twenties.

The top of the barrel is marked “IVER JOHNSON ARMS & CYCLE WORKS/FITCHBURG, MASS. U.S.A./PAT’D APR.6.88 FEB.15.87/ DEC.26.93/ PATS PENDING”.

The overall condition is very good. About 85% of the original nickel finish is intact. The markings are clear and legible. The bore is in good condition. The original hard rubber grips bear the trademark Iver Johnson owl head and are in great shape. The action on this revolver is excellent.
