Description:

IVER JOHNSON ARMS & CYCLE WORKS M. 1900 Revolver

Early 20th Century Conceal and Carry

Here we present an Iver Johnson Model 1900 Revolver in .38 S&W, made in the early 20th Century in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. Iver Johnson & Martin Bye both cut their teeth with Ethan Allen, then started their own company in 1871. The company continued to operate until 1993. This revolver was designed to be small and concealable for self-defense in the years leading up to the Roaring Twenties.

The top of the frame is marked “I.J. DOUBLE ACTION/MODEL 1900”.

The overall condition is good. Traces of the original blue finish remain where the barrel meets the frame as well as in the cylinder flutes. The markings are clear and legible. The bore is in fair shape with good rifling and minor spotting. The original hard rubber grips that bear the Iver Johnson trademark owl head are in great shape. The action on this revolver functions intermittently.

This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic.

Barrel is 2-1/2 inches.

Caliber: .38 S&W

Overall condition as seen in photos.
