This Savage rifle's serial number is 58D091. It is chambered for the 250-3000 Savage cartridge. The front sight is the standard Savage sight. There is no rear sight . There is a sight blank installed where the rear sight would be. The receiver is drilled and tapped for the tang sight and scope base. The stock is carved on the rear side panels in the French pattern. The checkering appears to be factory done. The grip cap is factory. This rifle retains 98% of the bluing. The lever has strong color cased finish. The engraving is well done and tasteful. The left panel has a doe and buck. The bottom panel has a bob cat. The right panel has a mountain lion. All of these figures are done in silver. The engraving is heavily done and covers almost the whole surface of the receiver. This is a good looking rifle that has real appeal.
