SALE PENDING +++PRICE REDUCED from $950+++ For Sale: 1978 Colt Mk IV Series 70 1911 pistol in 9mm. Has original Colt logo medallion wooden grips. Mec-gar magazine. Is import marked from Israel. Shows some wear where holstered. In very good condition. Barrel bore appears to be slightly frosted or just needs a good cleaning. Has been shot and functions perfectly. Did a quick barrel swab and oiled rest of firearm. Is bulged style barrel and takes 1911 45ACp style barrel bushing. The 4 prong bushing has been switched to solid style just as Colt is doing on new pistols. Photos sent to a refinisher that says that imports marks can be polished away if so desired during a refinish. This pistol is a prime candidate for such a refinish or can make an excellent shooter. Very low recoil with 9mm caliber.
