Description:
This is a Bankers special shipped to the Wayne County Sheriff .which is Detroit and surronding area. This is the second one I have seen so marked like this.It was manufactured in 1932 its the square butt version which is a early one. Its in great condition with most of original blue ,except fo the back strap with thinning finish.It locks up solid in single and double action . Appears to have not been shot much at all. Bore and cylinder are minty. Its all original and in very nice condition. The sheriff in Detroit at the time was named Wilcox and there is a very interesting story about him going to jail.
