These guns are both 1951 Colt .45 Commercial 1911s (1911A1 WWII military model). They have been in storage for more than 60 years. They are single-action, semi-automatic, magazine-fed (7-round), recoil-operated pistol chambered for the .45 ACP cartridge. They have a wide hammer, a notched rear sight, and a fixed front sight blade. Their hammers have three positions: full thumb-cocked, half-docked, and rest. Barrel length: 5.5 inches. Weight: 2 pounds, 6 ounces. Serial numbers are sequential: 248413-C and 248414-C (“C” designation denotes commercial). $65 for shipping.
