Winchester pre-war Model 42 with Modified choke with 26" barrel. Serial number 42891, mfg. in 1940. .410 gauge with 3" chamber. Pristine bore. It's in excellent plus condition. Don't like rating guns but guess I would say 90-95%. Please see pictures. There are a fews, marks and rubs on the stock as seen in pictures. Nice original varnish on stocks except for those spots. The blueing on the receiver has a few marks as seen in pictures and light wear on the underside. The barrel retains 95 percent of its blueing. All original with no signs of repair or refinish. The light spots on the receiver on top and sides are reflections from the pictures, not the blueing.
