Webley & Scott Model 700 with ejectors, 12 Gauge. Barrels are 28" and the chokes measured .720 and .700 for me (I.C. & I.M.). Pristine bores. Serial number 138506, mfg. 1967. This shotgun was mfg. in Birmingham, England. The nicely figured stock has a right hand cast in it. It throws up beautifully for a right hand shooter. Checkered butt. Length of pull from butt to front trigger is 16 3/4" and 15 3/4" to the rear trigger. This shotgun was built for a taller right handed shooter.
The receiver is mostly silver with some blue on the bottom and also on the trigger guard. The barrels retain 90+% of the blue with light freckling. The stocks are in fine condition with very few, marks or rubs. Checkering is excellent. This fine English shotgun would be fun in the field or at the sporting clays range. Functions perfectly as designed. Webley Scott closed their factory to making handguns and long guns in Birmingham England in 1979 after being in business since 1834.
