Description:
This Barrett Firearms Model 98B right hand bolt action rifle comes in .338 Lapua Magnum. It has a 27 inch fluted barrel with a 1-10 R.H. twist and a muzzle brake attached. There are no iron sights but it has an 18.25 inch M1913 style scope rail attached integral to the receiver. It has a Manual Reversible thumb lever safety. There is a Harris folding adjustable bi-pod attached to the bottom of the forearm. It comes with a Pelican 1750 Case and a total of 3 magazines. The .338 Lapua Magnum originated in Finland. It is a rimless, bottlenecked centerfire rifle cartridge developed during the 1980s as a high-powered long range cartridge for the Military Snipers. It was used in the Afghanistan War and the Iraq war. It is estimated this rifle needs a safety range of 4 miles.
