***PRICE REDUCED******This is a good savage 99 takedown short rifle in the desireable 30-30 caliber, Rifle was made in 1927. Barrel is 22 inches and the bore nice and bright with excellent rifling. No extra holes in gun anywhere. Blue has good coverage but is thining and has worn off the bottom of receiver. Wood appears to have a very thin hairline crack on top right of receiver. Butt of stock looks like it may have sat in a damp area and shows some staining on the stock and some pitting on buttplate. Overall a good example that shows some wear. FFL or C&R needed to ship. Price includes shipping in CONUS
