Mountain Valley Armory is proud to offer this fine example of a Marlin 39a Article II rifle. As you can see from the pics the sleeve has a tear on one side and the ends are a little tattered The box itself has a couple of tears. The great news is the rifle is just about perfect (99%) Serial number on box matches rifle. Metal is excellent as is the wood. Very slight drag line on one side of the hammer. 24 inch octagonal barrel, Only 6,244 Article II rifles were made in 1971. Comes with owner's manual, scope mount and sleeve for scope mount.
