DESIRABLE 1894 “COWBOY LIMITED” 24” OCTAGON BARREL RIFLE , .44 MAGNUM OR .44 SPECIAL CALIBER, MADE 1998. These were made with “Ballard-Style” rifling instead of Micro-groove rifling on standard Marlin rifles and carbines for use with both jacketed and cast bullet ammo. This example is very lightly used with excellent sharp diamond checkering, original buckhorn rear and blade/bead front sights with perfect bright bore. Tight action and crisp trigger pull. Not quite new condition, but not far off. These Connecticut built octagon barrel 1894s are getting very hard to find.
