Description:
16 gauge, 26″ Krupp Fluid Steel barrels, 2 3/4” chambers. Chokes measure .017 right and .027 left. Brilliant shiny bores. Full length matted rib with single silver bead. Double triggers, extractors, automatic safety. Full capped pistol grip buttstock checkered in 2 point pattern with a 14” length of pull to the front trigger over a hard rubber butt plate. Splinter forearm with engraved Deeley release and iron checkered in two point pattern. Receiver features floral scroll engraving which extends to the top lever and "ANSLEY H FOX" in a banner on each side. The trigger guard has simple line designs and a diamond in the center. The top breech end of the right barrel is marked "KRUPP FLUID STEEL MADE BY" and "A.H. FOX GUN Co. PHILA. PA" on the left. Condition: Barrels retain 98% bluing. Frame retains 60% original case color which is lightened, mostly on sides and top. Forearm iron retains original finish mostly on the inside. Trigger guard retains 60% original blue. Buttstock and forearm appear to have had varnish added. They have several light handling marks. Drop at Comb: 1 1/8”. Drop at Heel: 2 5/8”. Weight: 5.7 lbs. Minimum wall thickness: .031 right, .034 left. Mechanics are excellent.
