A fantastic example of a 1924 vintage Colt New Service Model fitted with a 5 1/2 inch barrel, checkered walnut grips with silver Colt medallions, lanyard, rounded checkered cylinder latch, is blue finished, and chambered in .45 Long Colt. The 6-shot revolver is in excellent original condition, retaining 98%+ of its original blue finish, with only minor thinning on some of the sharp edges of the cylinder, frame and barrel. The bore looks as new and the action is tight and functions perfectly. The grips fit well and are in excellent condition, retaining all of their original finish, with no cracks or chips.
