Description:
There were 5,000 of these California Bicentennial Scouts manufactured in 1969, all were chambered in .22 LR.. The 6-shot revolvers were fitted with a 6 inch barrel, full length ejector rod/housing, smooth 2-piece walnut grips with gold Colt medallions, come in a wood presentation case, and are totally gold plated except for the hammer, trigger, hammer screw, trigger screw, and ejector rod housing screw, which are nickel plated. The gun has been fired and is in fine condition, retaining 98% of its gold plating, with thinning on the trigger guard, some sharp edges of the cylinder, and sharp edge of the barrel at the muzzle. The grips retain all of their original finish with assorted minor handling marks. The case is in good condition, with asorted handling marks/dings/scratches.The lining in the case is in excellent condition.
