ANTIQUE Half-Stock Percussion LONG RIFLE
Here we present an antique Half-Stock Percussion Long Rifle, made circa the 1850s. This rifle would have been ideally used for hunting small game. It features a lock with engraved game scene and double set triggers. Pewter fore end cap.
The overall condition is fair. The metal surfaces are dark with age. The stock has an attractive grain. It has a crack at the toe and just above the lock on the right side. The bore is dusty with distinct rifling. The action is strong. Here is one that would be perfect for the cabin wall!
