Description:
Colt SAA US Manufactured in 1887, this gun was one of 300 guns shipped to the U.S. Government on February 17. 1887 as stated in the included factory letter. The side of the frame is marked U.S. and the inspector mark on the lower frame and cylinder is DFC (David F. Clark). The rear grip frame is marked with inspector stamp “J” and the front grip frame is marked with a “A”. The serial numbers do not match. The barrel is a replacement barrel however the bore appears in very good shape.
