Description:
Serial #3555458, .30-06, 24" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a handsome rifle has an early, four-groove "RA / 2-43" dated barrel and retains 97-98% of an arsenal Du-Lite finish that has silvered slightly on some of the high edges and corners, the bearing surfaces of the bolt, and on the sides of the front sight base where the sides look to have been buffed. The walnut stock has minor handling marks and small blemishes in the original oil finish, but the only markings are a crisp rebuild mark on the left side: “AOO". Regardless, this is a great looking, four-groove World War II '03-A3 that was refurbished after the war, has excellent metal, and rates fine condition overall. FFL or C&R
