Description:
South African issued but Belgium built M1 bayonet. This is the SA version of the British X2 E1 bayonet as well as the Canadian trials bayonet. The South African version is identical but has black Polyamide grips. This example came from a South African Collection but is not ownership marked. The pommel shows rifle #36377. This bayonet comes with a leather forg. The painted scabbard and frog are similar to a South African piece as offered for sale by J.C. Militariaout of the UK.
