Description:
Serial #6858, 9.3 x 57mm, 24" barrel with a fine, bright bore that has a few spots of dark pitting about halfway down. This rifle was built on a Swedish Model 1938 Mauser action and retains 90-92% of the original blue finish with some silvering at the muzzle, high edges, and on the bearing surfaces of the bolt. A large import mark is present on the underside of the barrel just ahead of the forend. The walnut stock is original with some minor scattered handling marks and small blemishes, as well as some flattening to the points on the checkered pistol grip. This is a fabulous hunting rifle, and rates fine condition overall. It's chambered in a relatively mild recoiling, but hard-hitting cartridge; often used to take moose in Scandanavia. FFL or C&R
