Description:
Winchester model 70 super grade this rifle is in near mint condition with only a few minor Handling marks on the wood, With all its original finish so I Rated it at 98%+. The blue is in near mint condition and also a strong 98%+. This is a late model super grade that was made in 1955 when they went to the rust blued barrel, jeweled bolt, extractor, extractor collar, follower and Hand smoothed action. The rifle has the proper Lyman folding rear sight And Redfield gold bead front sight With factory hood. The floorplate is stamped super grade This series of super grades were made from 1955 to 1959. The receiver recoil lug has the backwards S on the bottom signifying super grade. The only flaw on the rifle is some very slight Pitting On the upper left side of the buttplate as can be seen in the photo.. Hard to find in this condition and about as nice as they come. $3699. and I pay the shipping.
