This is a Ruger No. 1, rebarreled by J.D. Jones of SSK industries, Wintersville, Ohio.This rifle includes literature featuring a correspondence between the previous owner, and J.D. Jones, stating that, at the time, this was the only Ruger No.1 SSK Industries had ever rebarreled in .450 Nitro Express #2.The handwritten letters state the reason for the creation of this rifle, and the method in which it was. The letters also include load-data, sources for dies, and other technical information regarding the reloading process for the cartridge.There is also excerpts taken from the SSK with supplementary technical data about the performance of the cartridge.12 Loaded cartridges, and two boxes of projectiles are included as well.
