Winchester Model 1873 Saddle Ring Carbine. Manufactured in 1888. Caliber .44-40. Bore has good rifling and medium corrosion in the grooves. Action works perfectly. The stock appears to have what may be a ranch brand. Looks like OO (double O) or possibly 88? The left side of the stock has additional carving. Very colorful ’73.
